Bill Wright
Director of Prevention Services

Bill has been working in the field of prevention/intervention at Capstone since October of 1995. Bill is an elementary education graduate of Iowa State University. He worked previously as a teacher in the PCM school district and continues to coach there. Bill’s work in prevention includes teaching outcomes based programs that encourage healthy lifestyle choices to second through eighth grade students. He also networks with many schools, communities and agencies throughout Central Iowa. He is the president of the Iowa Substance Abuse Supervisors Association.


Ryan Comer
Prevention Specialist

Ryan joined Capstone Behavioral Healthcare as a Prevention Specialist 4 years ago. His responsibilities include working with Jasper County students in classrooms ranging from second grade through eighth grade teaching research based programs that encourage healthy lifestyle choices. Additionally, Ryan works with Jasper County high school students who are involved with the State of Iowa’s JEL (Just Eliminate Lies) anti-tobacco group in order to raise awareness of the harmful effects of tobacco. Ryan also teaches classes to juvenile offenders about the harmful effects of substance abuse. He works as a student advocate in several area high schools helping students with everyday problems, questions and concerns.
