Capstone Behavioral Healthcare Residential Services offer a wide range of for adults with chronic mental illness. Whether in our group home or supervised apartments Capstone Behavioral Healthcare focuses on assisting individuals to live as independently as possible.
This service offers 6 private bedrooms with shared kitchen, dining room and living room. It offers goal-oriented programming based on individualized needs. Staffing is available 24 hours a day. The home is close to Capstone Behavioral Healthcare, Skiff Hospital and other community resources.
There are 16 apartments with staffing available 24 hours. The apartments are one and two bedrooms with goal-oriented programming which is based upon the individual’s needs. Medication management is provided by qualified staff persons.
Respite services are available short-term and are appropriate for individuals who need additional support while experiencing an increase in mental health symptoms; but do not meet criteria for hospitalization or mental health commitment.
Admission Criteria
Individuals appropriate for referral must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a diagnosis of mental illness Axis I and/or Axis II.
- Be eligible for Magellan, Habilitation Services, State or County funding to cover service costs.
- Demonstrate a willingness to participate in the program.
